Every September, I really find myself missing the @_HEROgeneration and working in student well-being. It was such bucket-filling work and it feels more important than ever right now.
But here's a great list of 66 positive things to say to your child going into a new school year.

Thinking of London (Ontario) — Joy, hope and positivity also require humans learn to admire and appreciate other humans including those who look different.
We are deeply saddened by the tragic hate-motivated attack that took place in London, ON this weekend. We stand together in grieving this tragedy with the Muslim community and send our condolences to all those who are impacted. #Islamophobia and hate have no place in our society.

Starting tomorrow, #WRDSB flags will be lowered to half-mast at our schools and offices to honour the 215 Indigenous children whose remains were found at Kamloops Residential School. As an educational institution, this recent finding is most appalling. https://t.co/CitUjkrX0x
