A business with no sign. Is a sign of no business...

Time for a quick story.

We didn't raise a ton of money from our mint (bottom of the bear market, April 2023). It was hard work to make the most of it. And in as smart of a way as possible.

The fact that we were able to do so much to turn an empty 7,000 sq ft shell into a fully capable specialty coffee roastery was nothing short of miraculous.

With that being said, we ran out of funds pretty quickly for what we allocated to the Roastery build. We had plans of making a cafe at the front of the roastery for people to come enjoy a freshly roasted and brewed cup of Raposa, but that didn't come to fruition.

And there wasn't much reason, nor budget, to get a sign built. Our roastery became strictly behind the scenes.

Fast forward to months and months of execution, we've finally flipped to becoming cash flow positive for the last few months.

It's not much, but having and using profit from our active business to finally get our sign built is a extremely fulfilling moment for me and the team.

We are actually doing it. And we are doing it all for our community and supporters. And we will keep grinding until Raposa (and Kups) is a household name.
