🚨 BREAKING NEWS⚠️
Despite already obtaining 5k arms, including bombs & 6,50,000 rounds of ammunition to target the Kukis, the Meitei attempted to loot weaponry from the State's armory once again just a short while ago

I unequivocally condemn the unprovoked attack and burning of K Songlung Village in Kangpokpi District by heavily armed Zalengrong militants today. Despite President's Rule and over 60,000 Central security forces on the ground, attacks on Kuki-Zo villages continue unchecked. This blatant neglect exposes the government's persistent indifference to the Kuki-Zo community since 3 May 2023. The Government must immediately crackdown on this militants group

Officials said the achievement sets an example for other job aspirants in the community who are seeking better opportunities despite the ongoing crisis.

The kukis have no state government. We should appreciate their resilience in the face of new challenges. Their initiative to create new linkages for their survival deserves appreciation.
Kuki Organization for Human Rights Trust condemns Meitei opposition to alternative Kuki lifeline routes—Lamka–Kangpokpi & Tengnoupal–Chandel–Lamka. Govt must uphold Article 21 & stop bias. No peace talks without highway completion.

Boeing Air India flight went down in Gujarat.
If you think this is just bad luck, or an "accident" think again.
The warning signs have been there for years!
💔 Two Lives Lost. One Acknowledged one erased. Why?
Today, the skies cried over Ahmedabad, and so did we. Two young flight attendants from Manipur lost their lives in the tragic Air India crash. And yet, only one name is echoed through media headlines.
“NGANTHOI SHARMA KONGBRAILAKPAM, a native of Manipur…”
“Manipur woman among cabin crew…”
That’s where their coverage ends. Conveniently cropped. Selectively mourned.
No mention of LAMNUNTHEM SINGSON, no tribute, no acknowledgement ,simply silence.
Why?
She was #Kukizo from Manipur.
And that, apparently, is enough reason for media outlets to erase her from the narrative. That’s the depth of the rot we’re living through where even death is filtered through the lens of ethnic bias.
This isn’t just lazy journalism. This is an editorial decision soaked in prejudice, and it’s being made by people who either knowingly or subconsciously carry the torch of a Meitei-dominated narrative, one that continuously and systematically erases the Kukizo people from the story of Manipur.
Meiteis have a twisted knack for exploiting National Tragedies, turning hour of collective grief into Hate-fests. #Pahelgam unmistakably unmasked the reality of their loyalty. Had #AI171#planecrash been a Terror attack, they would've wasted no opportunity to glorify the Terrorists
@airindia has just confirmed the demise of a Cabin Crew, Lamnunthem Singson.
Raised by a single mother, they were displaced due to Ethnic Violence in Manipur
She now rests in heavenly abode.
May her soul rest in peace 🕊️
My thoughts and prayers to all those affected #planecrash
What’s most tragic is the missed opportunity ,Most of us believe that this is a sign from Above! This could’ve been a moment for all of us from Manipur Kukizo, Meitei, and beyond to grieve together, to see that in death, there is no “us” and “them,” only loss. Only humanity. Only home.
But instead, once again, the same tired and toxic script plays out:
•If you’re Kukizo, you’re an outsider.
•If you’re Meitei, you’re Manipur.
Even when you die on the same flight. Wearing the same uniform. Serving the same passengers.
To every newsroom editor @IndiaTodayNE ,@NELiveTV who chose to name one and not the other shame on you.
Your silence is violent.
Your bias is not invisible.
Your prejudice is printed in black and white.
And to the ones quietly watching and thinking, “It’s just an oversight” let me say this:
Oversight doesn’t repeat itself this often.
Erasure isn’t accidental when it always targets the same people.
This is why we speak up. This is why we will not be silent.
Because if even in death, our people are denied dignity then we must become the voice they were robbed of.
Let it echo now…
Nganthoi Sharma Kongbrailakpam and Lamnunthem Singson both were from Manipur.
Both served with grace.
Both died with honor.
Both deserve to be mourned.
If your media house can’t handle that truth then it’s not journalism.
It’s propaganda.
Lamnunthem Kuki was the only daughter of 3 siblings. Her father passed away&her mother has raised her children alone. They once lived in Old Lambulane,Imphal but were displaced during the Manipur conflict&have since been living in a rented house in Kanggui Town SadarHills as IDPs.
Dear Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, is there any state in India or any community in India that has attacked Governors, Chief Secretaries, and DGPs since independent India? This can happen only in Manipur, by Meitei community.

Mrs. Letkhohoi Haokip (60), a mentally challenged and ill woman, was fatally shot dead by Meitei militants and Arambai Tenggol at Langching Village. Her body was then mutilated and burned. Sugnu MLA @RanjitKangujam justified the killing by accusing her of being a sniper shooter.
