Love 3x07 Lestat's sections as a representation of depression and the little things they put in that episode from that pov. Like your 'failure finders' talking and talking and taking over + having that one fleeting reminder of "You're the only one who can control the volume."

Two scenes make me extremely happy tonight: 3x06 the first car scene. Loustat's fun, expressions, love. 3x07 the knowledge that later Louis told Lestat what was said in the butcher shop i.e. that Lestat is the love of his love and he thought about Lestat during the ordeal.
