My dear brother, South Africa’s challenges aren’t due to public holidays; they’re rooted in deeper structural issues like inequality, poor leadership, and weak infrastructure. In fact, some of the most successful nations, like Germany and France, have more holidays than South Africa yet maintain high productivity. Blaming holidays is a lazy argument that overlooks the real problems and the resilience of hardworking South Africans.
