@money_cruncher Have a client self directed lost $3 of their $4 million in just 5 years. They managed to do this during a 5 year bull run. In that case not paying the 1% resulted in approx $7 million of missed assets
@mcuban@orcawhale This goes beyond health insurance. There’s the same issue with ALL insurance. Homeowners insurance is getting pretty wild (albeit health insurance is the worst).
@cordes_tax What’s an MST? In my opinion the public when looking for a business consultant says “I need a CPA” and they ask their friends “whose your CPA”
@RonFilipkowski Remember in grade school the big bully always thought he was funny, and the people that ran with him were the only ones laughing? I always thought the ones running with them were simply just scared they were going to get bullied themselves so they hid behind the bully
@gaylortax I’m always shocked by this and my answer is unequivocally “no”. I’d let them know that we’d be happy to coordinate getting duplicate copies of return together for a few and after outstanding balance is paid. But it will be pdf’s.
@coreypetros Too often I see these thoughts. BUT, 15% payroll taxes plus FUTA, SUTA, and unemployment insurance. Well, looks like we are at 22% in taxes. Yet if the parents tax bracket is 24%, net of the 20% QBI deduction, you actually pay more taxes paying the kids!
@BarbaraPups@GavinNewsom What pipelines are not open? Big fallacy is that keystone was shut down. Keystone has been fully operational for years. The product comes right to my town. The only thing that got nipped was a short cut called the XL and would run across a water aquifer.
@FortWayneCPA Am I missing it? For beryl is says for reports due between June and October are extended. What about reports due 12/31 for initial filings?
