Miles y miles de personas opinando sobre un país que no conocen, inventando cosas sobre su historia, usando videos falsos o completamente descontextualizados para hacer afirmaciones categóricas, denunciando complots oscuros por todos lados, interpretando cada acción con la peor intención, lanzando acusaciones falopa de racismo, cuentas con millones de seguidores supuestamente dedicadas al "pop" que de un día para el otro pasan a publicar sin parar sobre un tema que nada que ver. A nadie parece importarle la evidencia. Miles de cuentas falsas infladas por bots empujando narrativas absurdas y odio para monetizar, gente a la que le ofrecen plata para decir cualquier cosa, medios de todo el mundo publicando artículos que avalan y amplifican toda esa basura. Sería bueno que esto sirviera para entender lo fácil que es fabricar narrativas falsas a partir de la indignación y el sentimentalismo, manipular la opinión pública y lograr que decenas de miles de personas hablen con absoluta certeza sobre un país que no conocen. Y empezar a ser un poco más escépticos con lo que se lee sobre otros temas que quizás no tocan tan de cerca.
