@PolitlcsUK Does following somebody on X count as keeping in touch?
Perhaps he's just going to keep sending Christmas cards hoping somebody in the Trump team might accidentally slip him on the reply card list.
@PolitlcsUK Well let's play out the fantasy and say through some coordinated sabotage campaign the Binface won. Since Jon Harvey (the Left-wing BBC employed comedian underneath the costume) didn't stand, and people won't be voting for him, he won't even be eligible to become an MP anyway.
@GuyTalksFinance I used to work as a contractor and an hour lunch break was always expected as though I was some kind of employee. Since I didn't eat lunch or need breaks, I did exactly that. Just left an hour earlier. Negotiate it into your employee contract if you feel it's something you need.
@PolitlcsUK This looks like a fake setup to portray the bin character as some anti-establishment rebel, designed to turn him into a peoples' hero protest vote. Likely the political Left have realised the guy underneath is one of them and know he is their only possible hope of beating Nigel.
@Alexarmstrong he is one of them, and they know the British public are quite susceptible to a novelty rebel figure/fad. It's the Left's chance to both mock Nigel, with no other candidates running, but also hope for some viral protest vote that might highjack public mood and provide a shock win.
@Alexarmstrong I suspect we're seeing the start of a co-ordinated campaign to boost the Binface character's profile, and reinvent him as some anti-establishment figure. That's likely why the BBC presenter is pretending to attack him in fake outrage. The political Left have realised that...
@GBNEWS This is becoming old and boring already. They know their parties have failed and cannot beat him on real issues, so resort to propaganda and political tricks. The people voting for him do not care. They will vote for him because he is not them and they want their country back.
@LozzaFox The same thing UK public saw when the establishment politicians lost the Brexit vote. MPs trying frustrate the process on technicalities and political games. MPs are there to represent the people but are too afraid of the people showing clearly who and what the public want.
@RupertLowe10@RestoreBritain Sorry, not buying it. Unless you all just wanted some negative press to use against him, a by-election is pretty inevitable, whether he calls it or it is forced. So the cost claim is BS. He is giving the public a chance to decide if they still want him. Either put up or shut up.
@Conservatives If you think your party is better and that the people of Clacton don't want him, then field a candidate. Otherwise you are admitting he is better than anyone the Conservatives have and he/Reform still has the public support, regardless of your negative press political tricks.
@Telegraph Anyone that doesn't field a candidate, giving whatever politics excuse, is simply acknowledging that Nigel Farage deserves to remain as MP for Clacton, because the people still want to vote for him.
Stand up and be counted, or you are saying you know you cannot do better.
@PolitlcsUK Even if you wanted to ask why someone out of work (presumably why most are on benefits) would need extra childcare, does she not realise the school system is already doing that.
@UKLabour Too scared to take part, more like.
Worried the negative press and catch-him-on-a-technicality tactic will backfire, should the public maintain their support.
@MikeTappTweets Who is going to bet this Labour MP said nothing of the sort when it came to intentionally forcing the Makerfield election, just to wedge Andy Burnham into place, and he will also likely be saying nothing against Andy wanting to waste millions on Number 10 North stupidity.
@piersmorgan Or democracy in motion.
The establishment propaganda machine should not get to remove their opposition. Let the people he is representing decide whether they still want him, or not.
That is more democratic and fair than Andy Burnham becoming PM on a few thousand votes.
@SeddSezz It's not about doing the right thing, it's about clinging to a desire for power over the people. Public servants desperately wanting to change the image to public rulers.
Frankly they all need to realise it's public services and just those employed to manage that properly.
@creation247 Celsius was defined around waterโs phase changes.
So (freezing/boiling points of water)...
Celsius (ยฐC):
โข Freezing: 0ยฐC
โข Boiling: 100ยฐC
compared to...
Fahrenheit (ยฐF):
โข Freezing: 32ยฐF
โข Boiling: 212ยฐF
Not difficult, just logic vs. whatever 'feels' cold or hot.
@TheGriftReport@Telegraph It's hardly 'take control of her health', but more being able to afford the easy option.
Good luck to her though. Hope she finds a proper health regime to maintain it.
Perhaps more MPs should listen to public criticism as a way to find improvement and positive action.
@ClownWorld That's the way to do it. Move the decimal place and round up if preferred. You want to tip more, fine. Your choice. There are no rules to tipping, and you don't just tip for doing the job they are paid to do. You tip to show they did it better than expected, or whatever.
@BBCPolitics Boring. Who cares. Carry on trying to find technicalities because the establishment parties cannot beat him on policies. The harder they push personal attacks and rely on something like a negative dirty tricks campaign, the more the public will support him.
