Meet Thabo Khateane from Botshabelo, Free State.
A postgraduate in Education, Thabo began his career as a Business Studies teacher. But while teaching others about entrepreneurship, he was quietly building his own dream.
In 2019, he used savings from his teaching salary to buy detergent manufacturing equipment and launched IClean Dishwashing Liquid.
By 2022, he made the bold decision to resign from his teaching job and pursue the business full-time.
Today, IClean has grown into a large manufacturing factory producing a range of household cleaning products while creating employment opportunities for many young South Africans.
Letโs celebrate and support local manufacturers! ๐
