Trump and Meloni’s friendship appears to be over — again
The U.S. president claimed that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni practically begged him for a photo together during the G7 summit.
According to Trump, he agreed only because he felt sorry for her.
Rome did not appreciate the remark. Meloni dismissed Trump's comments as fiction and criticized his attitude toward America's allies.
Amid the latest dispute, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani canceled a planned trip to the United States.
Until recently, Meloni was considered one of Trump's closest allies in Europe. But after the U.S. president's criticism of the Pope, tensions between the two began to grow — and the feud appears to be escalating.
Upon landing in Rome, had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Meloni over dinner followed by a visit to the iconic Colosseum. We exchanged perspectives on a wide range of subjects. Looking forward to our talks today, where we will continue the conversation on how to boost the India-Italy friendship.

BREAKING: China says it will not bow to Trump's latest tariff threats of 50% in additional tariffs that will go into effect on April 9th.
This means Trump plans to increase China's tariffs to 104%. Remember, 70% of the products you buy on Amazon are sourced from China.
104% tariffs mean the importer will have to pay more in taxes to the US government than they do to the manufacturer they buy the products from in China.
If a Bike costs $100 to import from China, the person buying it will pay $100 to China and an additional $104 to the US government.
