Over 7500 people came out to watch the Nebraska boys soccer state championship (Gretna vs Lexington, Lincoln Southwest vs Omaha South) — and over 4500 people were in attendance to watch the girls (Lincoln Pius X vs Blair, Omaha Marian vs Elkhorn South).

⚠️ Due to a high probability of severe weather forecasted by the National Weather Service and Perry Weather, the NSAA has adjusted schedules for State Soccer and State Baseball tomorrow (May 18).

⚽ State Soccer Championships have been moved to:

Tuesday, May 19
4:30 Class B GIRLS Soccer State Championship
8:00 Class A GIRLS Soccer State Championship

Wednesday, May 20
4:30 Class B BOYS Soccer State Championship
8:00 Class A BOYS Soccer State Championship

⚾ State Baseball will move to a rolling schedule on Monday, May 18 with all sites beginning play at 9 a.m. The goal is to complete as many games as possible before weather impacts play.

Fans, schools, and media are encouraged to stay tuned to the NSAA website and social media channels for updates throughout tomorrow and this week.

⛈️WEATHER POSTPONEMENT⛈️

Unfortunately due to the lightning that is surrounding Morrison Stadium in accordance with NSAA weather policies, the NSAA is forced to postpone the rest of the Class A Boys Semifinal game between Omaha South and Omaha Westside until tomorrow (May 16) at 12:00 PM at UNO Soccer Stadium (Caniglia Field). Admission will be free to all for the conclusion of this game.

***If you are attending this game, please park in the parking garage on the east side of the soccer stadium.***

The game will pick up right where it left off.
