…and agreement between all three datasets worse for children > adults. Better agreement (63% versus 7%) for children who have a transplant compared to those on dialysis.
(Also another example of the value and use of kidney registries, if one was needed!)
Using primary or secondary care data to define KRT?
*AT LAST* we know how accurate that is.
Huge thanks to so many people for making this happen after so many years inc: @UKRenalRegistry@UKKidney@LondonTouch@OpenSAFELY

For clarity. Chris. When my surgical trainee husband was acutely suicidal the only ‘support’ from his employer was a letter saying his pay would stop soon…
@NHSPracHealth on the other hand very literally saved his life.
Decommissioning ‘while you review’ will cost lives.
💥 NHS STAFF 💥
Please consider signing this open letter to @VictoriaAtkins & @AmandaPritchard at @NHSEngland expressing your dismay at their extraordinary decision to cut @NHSPracHealth funding for hospital staff.
Please share widely 🙏

Reminding our leaders that the legacy of Dr Daksha Emson has saved countless numbers of clinicians from suicide.
Our work is to help others. We are burnt out. We need help.
Why are you doing this?

World Bipolar Disorder Day
We remember today Dr Daksha Emson who took her own life in 2000 after struggling with bipolar disorder, she was failed as a doctor-patient.
We exist in part due to Daksha so that doctors suffering can be treated as patients safely.

This is disastrous, hideous news. NHS England are hacking back the mental health support for hospital staff. One doctor takes their life every three weeks. One nurse takes their life every single week. These numbers will now INCREASE. @VictoriaAtkins - please do the right thing.
🚨IMPORTANT THREAD FOR ALL NHS WORKERS🚨
