@garidan @ThisBearHugs @bessbell If you follow the current trends 75-80% of the population will have mild cases. According to the info graphic you provided less than 4% will be in ICU. If you just assume that 4% of the United States are in the ICU, which is very very conservative if you ask me. (1)

@garidan @ThisBearHugs @bessbell It is a lot! 3.4% is the mortality rate of Coronavirus. So 16.6% of that 20% are recovering but may have to be hospitalized as well. I think it’s a fair assumption to say 4% are severe enough to be on a ventilator. If you have better source provide it so I can learn.

They project that the corona vaccine will take until 2021 to have ready for the public. We cannot all hide inside our houses until then or there will be nothing to come back to.

@gametimegreg @bessbell The hospitals thanked Tesla for the donation. They didn’t have any resentment towards the donation. I can’t believe we arguing about a donation made for free. I can understand where you are coming from but its a round about way to be mad at someone.

Not because they need groceries. The virus is spreading at a high rate regardless if we are “open” or “closed”.

If we open up people will CHOOSE to go out and infect others. That’s the point they are making. People are allowed to stay at home still if there is no stay at home order.
