Paid his mortgage, energy bills etc. We paid for Sunak’s personal swimming pool. Johnson had his flat redecorated. Sunak legit gave his FIL govt contracts but here you all go ripping Rayner to bits. I wouldn’t give AF if you all treated them as equally bad but you don’t. Rayner’s life is being scrutinised while everyone else gets to be forgotten and moved on.

Reform UK councillor John Bailey (Easington and Shotton) has resigned from Durham County Council.

He becomes the second party member to leave in just over a month since the May local elections.

A by-election is set to be held for the vacancy later this year.
