@jonnysmales Arguably the best midfielder at the club is sat at home. Too stubborn to let him back in cos he came back late for pre season. They’ll sack him if the next couple of weeks don’t well. Can’t afford not to.
@Tobytyke205 A bigger question is what return on investment the academy has had over the last, say 10 years. I don’t know the answer, but I’d guess it’s probably running at a big loss.
Folk just need to realise what the club has become. Mid/lower L1 club with the budget to match. Can’t blame them for cashing in on assets to help fund the club. It happens at every club in our position. Gone are the days of us being where we once were (under these owners anyway)
@paulshefftyke The one thing the board/owners can be held accountable for is bending reality to mismanage and give false expectation to fans. But that happens at other clubs too and at the start of the season they need to sell a dream to try and get bums on seats.
@ZachHicks2 How do you get the offence firing again when the QB is playing with a fractured leg? I know every team has injuries but to effectively lose both QBs is tough and hard to recover from. Could easily lose every game from here on in.
@Colts_GB I think the D has be fine even without Buck. We’ve just lost all momentum on offence, which is understandable when the QB is playing with a fractured leg. A lot easier to defend against when you know he won’t be rushing/QB sneaking.
@MugsNfl Holy shit. Two feels like a lot but we’ve been shite drafting in the first round under Ballard and hopefully it’ll end up being two 32nd picks 😂
@BenjMellor 2 divisions apart, but the reality is closer than that. If the league structure was correct, they’d be in L2 this season. And I think we can be safe in assuming we’re a low, maybe very low, L1 team based on the current squad.
I get your point though. Reaffirms where we are.
@teresamankin@Colts_GB Thats a lovely offer, thanks. Maybe one day we’ll get a UK based group of fans over together for a game. Enjoy Berlin, it’s an incredible city 👍🏻
@MugsNfl Meant 2023 🙃. The Germany game is always massively popular so having a Steelers fan in our group will probably mean we’ll end up trying for that game first.
