@vidamthamilton @Dr_RPM @DonnellyStephen @HSELive More ED consultants are warmly welcomed but is not the solution. Ireland has the highest acute bed occupancy rate in the OECD @ 95%! The average is 75%. We have 3 beds per 1000 population in Ireland, OECD avg is 4.7. The figures tell the story!

Dear junior reporter @rtenews. Can I clarify that NCHDs were never formerly known as 'junior doctors'. That is a media term used whenever a certain narrative wants to be set to undermine the experience and skills of doctors in Ireland.

@Fergdam @SimonHarrisTD Agreed. We have the highest number of medical graduates in the OECD with almost 25 per 100,000. More graduates is not the solution to the problem. It's time to face the cold truth behind poor doctor retention.
