I’m not saying they’ll definitely sell #BTC, as they also hold significant amounts of gold and secured loans, and the specific timing and approach are uncertain.
However, if things continue as they are, BTC might not be the best asset to hold in the short term.

According to their latest report, they have $143.6B in circulating stablecoins (now maybe more) but only $121.6B in cash and cash equivalents.
Particularly interested in how much of their roughly $7.7B Bitcoin holdings they might sell in the short term.

If the #GENIUS Act requires stablecoin issuers to maintain a 1:1 reserve of highly liquid USD and short-term treasuries, I’m very curious about how #Tether will adjust their current asset structure.

@PSETrading October Monthly: The Tide is Turning

October was a positive month for the crypto market, highlighted by Bitcoin (BTC) reaching an impressive $72.6K USD. However, beneath the surface, the market dynamics were more nuanced. Investors who strategically invested in memecoins like GOAT, POPCAT, and MOODENG saw significant gains.

In contrast, many Layer 2 (L2) coins struggled to return to their March highs. The trading environment has increasingly become a PvP landscape. Unfortunately, our confidence in Ethereum (ETH) was misplaced, as it failed to reclaim its pre-ETF high of $4K USD and struggled to gain market share due to a perceived lack
of innovation.

With elections on the horizon, we anticipate market volatility, potentially seeing BTC dip to the 65K level before possibly reaching 85K by the end of November. We remain patient and unbiased as we continue to evaluate the market.
