Huge congratulations to @merijanetran on defending her dissertation! Her research helps us understand health insurance literacy across informal caregivers and HCPs. What an honor to be on her committee alongside @anabirk1@NanAllenUT@EliIacob1 & Richard Nelson. @uofunursing
Like caregiving itself, caregiving research is imbedded in so many contexts, but often isn't front and center. So fun to have an entire conference dedicated to caregiving research and to hear from the great minds working on different aspects of this issue #BBPGH22
Pay. Paid. Caregivers. A. Living. Wage. Value this invaluable work. Honor the goals of disabled people to meet their independent living goals and their family caregivers.
🙏 so, so much for sharing, Carol & Heather Tomko #BBPGH22

We need to go back and integrate nurse staffing data into our study of team communication, pt and caregiver discharge quality, and readmissions. Thanks @WINursing @JackNeedleman for reminding me that we need to consider the largest workforce contributing to inpatient quality!
