Genuinely fucking hilarious to see stupid old cunts that voted to impose economic sanctions on their own country argue that 16 year olds can't think for themselves.

@LordBalthazar85@DaveYates86@Kashus27@wesstreeting No one gets a say in how their money is spent though, so if it’s going to be spent by the government I’d sooner it go to the people who deserve it than frittered on other things no one asked for

I am a British born, British trained doctor. I was the most senior doctor overnight over the weekend.
My USA exams are complete. My colleagues and I will be leaving, unless doctors get full pay restoration. £22/ hour for a FY1 doctor and we can end the strike.
I really need Doctors to really start talking like this more. Everyone gets mad at the comparison of wages to other jobs when the reality is they’re not remotely the same
How is anyone against doctors getting a payrise? It’s no one’s personal money. The governments of the years waste endless amounts of money and this is what people choose to be angry about? And in another breath likely complain about not being able to see a doctor for weeks
@TEMPMCR Ibiza electricity board engineer paid off to pull fuses for the venue. Easy done, Ibiza club cartel not happy about a new independent venue i imagine. Same fate as underground got in the end

But for the BBC news coverage of Macron visit to be entirely focused on that, without any mention of the nuclear deal, and no reference to his very strong - accurate - statements about the role Brexit has played in creating this mess, is a bit weird. But of course “we must find space for a Farage clip from GB News,” said the editor, again and again and again …
