Alberta Premier Danielle Smith's CPSA team is moving aggressively to criminalize Ivermectin this friday, August 15, 2025.

Smith's CPSA lawyer has just filed a new Affidavit today filled with absolute nonsense, to try to pressure an Edmonton judge on August 15 to give them a fraudulent injunction that would close the world's largest Ivermectin Cancer Clinic and criminalize Ivermectin use for ALL Albertans.

My incredible lawyer Catherine Christensen is fighting on behalf of thousands of Stage 4 Alberta Cancer patients who are using Ivermectin and whose lives are being put at risk by Premier Danielle Smith's team's actions.

Rex Murphy, beloved Canadian journalist, died last year from cancer at 77 years old.

Though possessed of a finely-honed wit and a cavernous bank of language, these weren’t his most defining features.

First and foremost, he was Canadian. Back when that word still meant something.

For Rex, Canada wasn’t just something he wrote about. It was something he was; his style, diction, and pathos were all shot through with cold Atlantic salt.

To read his books, to listen to his commentary, was to be in the presence of what might best be described as distilled northernness.

Though permitted a small segment on CBC for many years (largely due to how well-loved he was) his sympathies were never with Canada's government but with her people — her fisherman, farmers, oilworkers, and miners. He became their voice.

Rex did not suffer fools. Above all he hated the empty posturing of experts and officials who tithed their spices while neglecting the weightier matters of justice and mercy.

In many ways, Rex's legacy remains the inspiration for our voice and values here at Resistance HQ.

Could a trucker be jailed for peacefully protesting?

Chris Barber’s legal team is asking a court to halt sentencing, arguing that he acted in good faith during the 2022 Freedom Convoy and relied on guidance from police, lawyers, and even a judge.

The Crown wants him jailed for two years and to destroy his truck, “Big Red.” A ruling on the Stay of Proceedings Application could come as early as Friday, May 23.

The hearing is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. in Room 5 at the Ottawa courthouse, from Wednesday to Friday, May 21 to 23, 2025.

“To imprison a man who sought and followed legal advice would bring the administration of justice into disrepute,” says John Carpay, president of the Justice Centre.
