University of Zimbabwe lecturers, including professors, are picketing outside the university in a strike against slave wages.
The professors earn just US$230 (R4,181) a month and have told their students that they cannot mark their exams due to the strike.
Zimbabwean university lecturers are the lowest paid in Southern Africa, a direct result of the massive looting of public funds by Zimbabwe’s dictator, Emmerson Mnangagwa, and his criminal cartels.
The lecturers have invited other underpaid university workers to join them advising them it is their right to do so!
They said their picket line at the university will be their liberation zone against slave wages!
