You should hear my wife (a teacher) currently on the phone. It's like she's preparing to invade a small nation in the morning. Teachers were told up until 8pm that schools were going ahead as usual and now (with no guidance) are scrambling to make it work for key worker children

It's like the rise of the virus has sprung up overnight and caught the government by surprise.

Slow clap for letting kids go to school for a day then telling all their parents they need to find childcare at 8pm the eve before. If only there was a break of maybe 2 weeks or so that could have been used to prepare for this scenario.
