I will explain to you why the killing of Charlie Kirk pushes me to the right.
He had the exact same views as my Trump supporting parents who I love. He had the exact same views as half my extended family. Just regular Boomer conservatism.
And thousands of leftists celebrate him being shot in the neck and bleeding out in front of his three year old daughter.
If they want that for Charlie Kirk, they want that for my parents and my other loved ones.
And I won’t stand for it. Because I’m not a suicidal spiteful mutant with hatred for my own family, my own parents, my own civilisation.
I love the people who raised me and I’m loyal to them and I won’t ally myself with people who want to murder them just because they have old fashioned values that were completely common throughout 99% of modern history - a love of faith, family, church, nation.
🚨NEW: Utah Governor delivers powerful message following the assassination of Charlie Kirk:
"If anyone ... celebrated even a little bit at the news of this shooting, I would beg you to look in the mirror and to see if you can find a better angel in there somewhere."
"I don't care what his politics are. I care that he was an American."
🚨Trump releases a statement from the Oval Office on the assassination of Charlie Kirk:
"Tonight, I ask all Americans to commit themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived and died... Charlie was the best of America."
Like all of you, I am utterly stunned and heartbroken and sick to my soul today. It is unimaginable to write these words. I met Charlie Kirk when he was 18 years old, a young man so eager and determined that I immediately turned to a friend and said, “That kid is going to be the head of the RNC one day.” Charlie became even bigger and more important than that. It was a privilege to watch this principled man stand up for his beliefs and create the single most important conservative political organization in America. But more importantly, Charlie was a good man, a man who believed in right and wrong, who stood by his Biblical values. All of us will miss him, and I can’t imagine the pain of his beautiful young family, and we must all pray for them. And we must pick up the baton where Charlie left it, fighting for the things he believed in so passionately. And we must fight for a better America - an America where good people can speak truth and debate passionately without fear of a bullet. I weep for Charlie’s family, and I weep for my country today. Most of all, I weep for Charlie.
Many of us here have seen the videos of violence directed toward TPUSA students - and the measures taken to silence them. We have seen others targeted at college campuses around the nation - prevented from speaking, violently at times.
Today - I keep seeing politicians say violence has no place in our politics. It has had a place for years - unreported and those students have been unprotected by some of the same politicians uttering those words.
@MrDonPc@GlobeEyeNews You didn't think the blood spraying out of his jugular was that serious? This is why no one should take anything you say seriously, bless your heart.
Will Cain at Fox News just stopped his ENTIRE show, watched by millions, to give a moment of silence and prayer for Charlie Kirk after he was shot
This is beautiful.
"However you pray, I hope at this moment you can pray for Charlie Kirk," @willcain said
Our country needs more of this.

@melissabkruger I was curious if there was ANY way to get additional spots for your upcoming aux event at the TGC conference? The one for women theologians? I'm late signing up and I was really looking forward to it!

@AnthonyLeShawn He didn't bow out in the moment that mattered though. He took the cross despite extreme anguish and blood for sweat. I'm with Simone but this comparison sucked.
