@EalingCouncil Why are you not fining more people for having firework displays into the night. There must be hundreds of offenders this evening alone, illegally setting off fireworks this late. Surely it would be easy money, as each offender can be fined ยฃ5000? Genuine question.
Bill Nighy trending purely as a result of him being a nice guy is a timely reminder of one of the big differences between social media and traditional media.
@EdScottLondon@matt Although they seem to have borrowed the name from LA, there was already a 'Kiss' in Oz which may have influenced the decision? (https://t.co/eOmjNsBgzT)
@KateLeeComms@PaulChantler Newsreaders seem to have even lost the ability to say "o'clock" nowadays, too. It's all "7pm this evening" and "2am in the morning". Sad times. :-(
@itvnews Well, 5/7ths of a day for salaried people who work 5 days a week, yes. But employers would argue that they factor in leap years when deciding on salaries. The answer if you're not happy, though: go self-employed and work for a daily rate!
@chrisukstevens Very very true. Sounds excellent. They've clearly got someone who knows about audio to mix this. All too rare with commercial radio video content! (I do have one question though: a bit of the Classic sonic logo appears to be missing. Because of that, 9.9 out of 10. ๐)
@claydenizen@w88chy Personally, I'd say it does come across as a genuine question. Read his post again, but without the (polite) "genuine question" sentence. It sounds rude. And for what it's worth, I suspect most people watching the video had the same question.
