The School Council were joined by LSG Litter Heroes on Friday, as part of their initiative to 'love where you live'. Together they helped clean up areas around school and within the local community. They did a terrific job - let's hope it stays that way!
St Thomas' Leesfield Church looked beautiful for our KS2 Carol Concert on Wednesday evening. The children were fabulous and put on an amazing show. Thank you to our families for supporting this event and singing along. Hallelujah! It's Christmas!
Thank you to everyone who attended our Harvest Service this afternoon, in church. We give thanks and think of others less fortunate than ourselves. "My children, our love should not just be words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action."
A big thank you to councillors @samlibdem and Helen Bishop, who hosted a Q & A session with our Year 5 & 6 pupils last week. They gave our children some excellent tips on how they could continue to live out our school vision, helping to serve our local and global community.
On Thursday, we remembered and honoured the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives during the Second World War, bringing Victory in Europe. Some of our pupils attended a small service at Lees Cemetary, where they paid their respects on behalf of the school.

Today we celebrated World Book Day. Our theme was based around the book, 'Rain Before Rainbows' by @SmritiPH . The children created some wonderful work throughout the day and we shared this at our Reading Cafe after school. Thank you to all our families who stopped by.
Reception were visited by @manchesterfire this morning, as part of their 'People Who Help Us' topic. They had an informative talk, followed by a wonderful time looking at the fire engine. The children even got to fire the hose!
We are so proud of our Year 6 children for the courage and resilience they showed at @RealRobinwood . They had such a wonderful adventure together and rose to all the challenges presented to them. 'I can do all things, through Christ who strengthens me'.
