🧸: earlier, we were filming a big emotional scene for p’na (lena). she had to watch me having fun.. well, not exactly having fun, but carrying out a mission at paradise club while lying to her. for me, we filmed this scene pretty early on, because it was only our fourth queue. parn and pheem hadn’t really been through that much together yet. but p’na did such an amazing job.whenever we film an emotional scene, we always start by hugging each other. it’s kind of our way of sharing energy. as for us, we use those hugs to pass our emotions and feelings to each other. sometimes, it also helps us get into the right headspace and focus before filming an emotional scene.

physical touch is one of the ways we use to communicate with each other. earlier, i went over and hugged her, then stayed behind her to let her know, ‘i’m right here.’ even after they started filming, i didn’t leave. i stayed there so she’d know i was still around. at first, i was a little worried that staying might distract her or make her feel like someone was watching her. so i turned my back and curled up, trying to stay out of her sight.

i guess you could call it a comfort zone? i’m not really sure how to explain it because i’m not very good at explaining. i just feel like, when we’re filming an emotional scene, it wouldn’t be the same if someone else read the lines or stepped in for her. it has to be p’na’s voice or something like that
and it doesn’t even have to be an emotional scene. even in a regular scene where i need someone’s voice to help me bring out the right expressions, p’lena will come in and help me get into the scene.

Just a reminder that Pls Love is a three month filming project. They wrapped filming in August and still managed to release the series in September.

We’re only three episodes in, and honestly, these three episodes have already had me on the edge of my seat. The acting is so good, the tension is REAL, and the storytelling, especially the dynamic and chemistry between Lenamiu, has been amazing to watch.

I really have to give a shout out to the director and the entire team. I believe that if they took the risk of producing an 8 episode series within such a short timeframe, it was because they trusted Lenamiu to deliver exactly what needed to be delivered and give viewers a series worth enjoying.

And honestly, this is what I call teamwork. Of course, not everything is perfect, but when you look at the bigger picture, they have done an amazing job so far.
