@ProGolfCritic@DPWorldTour@PGATOUR Finally @ProGolfCritic we've got something we agree on! The SKY coverage is usually really really good. In the UK we mostly get that for most events. The US coverage of PGAT events is painful to be honest... It's comes a poor second.
@golffan123456 Pretty sure at the start of LIV there were very few tour trucks if any. That will have changed over time. I'd bet Brooks means it took a while for the trucks and facilities to be a regular thing on LIV.
@Irish_On_Tour Bang on. Shame X golf chat has become such a cesspit & it's gotten worse. Some of the comments I've read about the lad winning are just shamefull tbh. Thankfully I'm sure he couldn't care less carrying the Wanamaker around and dropping his $3.7m cheque in at the bank. π
@Golfingbrock When I thought golf chat on X couldn't get any more of a cesspit Brock today has been a disgrace from some tbh. The lad has fended off some of the world's best, won a major and pocketed $3.7m. And what do we read? A mountain of insults. Shamefull really. π
@itisonlygolf No way. We're watching the last few holes of a great PGA tournament. We're watching to see who lifts the Wanamaker. Not to see who earns what. It's just weird to argue that others should be paid more when it doesn't impact you in any way. It's just strange tbh....
@21luckyforsome Another lad who won the MoS and didn't want to leave Salford. Funny how many of these lads that moved away from Salford after ripping it up have fans of their new club claiming they're rubbish. π€
@johnnyddavidson Would UK RL have received the big SKY TV monies had the Aussie/Murdoch RL civil war not broke out?? It was Aussie changes that funded us then and potentially it will be again through the NRL. Has NW our the RFL brought any significant investment into UK RL their our own?
@Luke_Elvy Just grow the rough. It's that simple. Narrow the fairways, 3 feet of semi rough, then grass a foot deep. Move the ropes back so a 350 yard drive into the crowd doesn't give you a good lie. Pros will soon change tactic if it takes 2 blows to get back on the fairway.
@golffan123456@Robopz You can only play what's in front of you and take your chances. Top ten DPWT player. Gets a chance at Zurich. Wins. Follows up with a top ten finish. Now leads his next tournament... That's is taking your chances personified.
@hughcavill@UsedGolfFacts Also whether rightly or not the LIV brand is a divisive brand. It's almost toxic in the golfing world. Any investors will have to fight to change that perception which is a fight very few will fancy IMO.
@hughcavill@UsedGolfFacts For places like Aus and SA that will be a real shame. But the reality is if purses have to drop to $2m-3m per tournament LIV will lose its appeal to players. The same players that jumped to LIV for guaranteed mega cash will look elsewhere if possible. That's the reality for LIV.
@josey_orr@BenColeyGolf They had a similar stance at LIVs inception. In all honesty it was too vocal & probably came across the opposite of what they intended. Fast forward half a dozen years & we're back at it again. Probably with the same reception. Initially I thought it must be in their contract.
@ryanmouquegolf Didn't Nick Price have a year out to change his swing? Faldo took a couple I think... I honestly think for a rec golfer there's a year in a swing change & that's with constant practice. The trouble being when you're tired or losing concentration you fall back into your old habit.
