Mostly politics, both foreign and domestic. I've researched and written extensively about Irregular Warfare, especially narrative and economic warfare. LFG
Most of these 13,000ish properties are considered investment properties and won't be effected by this tax. It's just more performative grandstanding. Which is apparently what everyone under 30 wanted, because school was too hard for them, but TikTok is easy.
If you have a second home in New York City worth more than $5M, check your mailbox when you’re back in the five boroughs — because you've got mail.
Today, we sent notification letters to property owners, letting them know that our new pied-à-terre tax is coming soon.
The best city in the world deserves the best parks, libraries, and schools in the world. That's only possible when we all pay our fair share.
Everything everyone does is "donor driven"... It's called an employer. That's the "donor" for every single person in the world. Critique her content or her positions. But to say someone is slanted because they took a paycheck or a travel stipend is the height of stupidity.
It's transparent that Loomer's turn on Ukraine is donor-driven, just like when she suddenly started regurgitating pro-Maduro Chevron talking points last year.
This episode is good because she has influence on Trump, but observers should be grounded in what's really happening.
Old story. Finally getting more attention. It's a scam, and Congress should have stepped in a long, long time ago. Easy, low hanging fruit for people like Warren who love easy, low hanging fruit during election season. Can't believe it's been missed for so long.
Veterinary care is becoming increasingly expensive for American pet owners. As prices rise, attention is turning to a major shift in the industry: private equity firms and large corporations buying up veterinary practices across the country. https://t.co/Y6UL12j5Ak

@gripusa ESPN just kneecapped him... 3/10 rating.. Called his play "disgusting and negative"... Pretty sure the U.S. media is going to thrash him soundly.
@Suriyakmaps Too soon to say... Ronaldo might be especially tempted to play in his home country in 4 years... Who would tell him no? I can't imagine it.
And once they stop playing rugby, it turns out they aren't very good at all. As if the close calls versus countries barely on a map didn't already signal that.
Argentina finally down to just 11 men after having one sent off. The ref counts too, right...? No, but in all seriousness, this might be the first match they were officiated fairly, and got about 24 yellows and a red, as you might expect.
For a sport so old, it's just really weird that minor innovations haven't been made to improve it. 0-0 scorelines are completely useless. Basketball, U.S. football, ice hockey, etc, all evolved much quicker to eliminate the dull "stalling" type of strategies. Soccer must also.
What we saw from France/England yesterday is the glorious way that football could be, if only for some rule changes that prevent time wasting and endless bullshitting, otherwise known as backwards passing, otherwise known as Barcelona. This style of play "works", but it's shit.
Basketball had this same problem in its early days. The solution? A midcourt line and a 10-second violation. 8 in the pros. Problem solved. High-scoring, up and down games. And why not a "3 pt line" in football too? Outside a certain arc, bang it in, it's 2 goals, not one.
Betting against Zelenskyy has been the dumbest bet in the past 5 years. Trust the process. He's looking for a Grant-type figure to finish the job. Everyone has their time and place, and their important role to play. Federov did. Well done. But not the man for the moment.
You'd think after being proven wrong 7000 times, people would have learned to trust Zelenskyy's judgement by now... But apparently, no. Drone innovations were impressive and useful, but in the end, infantry must go forward. Current strategy is park the bus, stalemate, not enough.
