i love playing victor i love to get a clutch 1v4 trade on the enemy team and watching my team just sqaunder it by running face first into a rift that wont spawn for another 45s while the two remaining opponents just get two free walkers uncontested very cool
I don’t want to say deadlock but had a game last night that was clearly winnable except for the fact that 4 other players on my team spent the whole time pulling rank on each other in Standard, and crashing out when everyone ignored coms because “I’m better rank than you”
@LogitechG please don’t make me use a Razer product just give me the G600 back I don’t care if it’s wireless or not just let me give you money for the best mouse you’ve ever made
@jebgriffinmtg honestly mull. Turn 1 thoughseize messes up your turn real bad, and redundant rings aren't really good on the jump (usually want them in a few turns to keep things moving). If you had a second black card instead of a ring you would be better to keep.
All this bullshit just for it to be 9 min in a match.
Type of match you get on your last placement game and end up in Initiate because your whole team wanted to play overwatch on a side lane
@S287723559 @PrinzDeadlock Because annoying doesn’t equal good. If you can keep the gap closed on her (easy when she has 2 stam and the slowest sprint in the game) she can’t do anything because no one builds gun, so it’s a free kill.
@Freaky_Neon@0mukade but the camera is straight up pointing to Mogh's Palace right in the center of the frame. Not only is Mogh a Demigod himself, but it's also the entrance to SotE
Like compare this to the "ideal" UW control shell that just runs the clock out with 5cmc Teferi or looping Days Undoing with Narset. You don't really do anything but durdle and play the game on your opponents turn. At least here, your durdling actively drains and can win
honestly this is logical conclusion of control as WOTC currently designs for it. A deck that does nothing but prevent the opponent from playing, and still rewarding you for doing so by backdooring you into a victory that isn't just your opponent scooping out of rage.
I think a lot about the card design and game design that gets us here. Creaturesless, all removal, and card draw decks are such an interesting pattern of decks to think about. I’m not sure it’s good we got here, but it sure is interesting.
Legitimately Fromsoft did everyone a disservice by making him just stand there and monologue for the first 10 minutes instead of making it a cutscene where he just aurafarms and then throws you into the real fight
Gideon is hilarious because the vast majority of people who’ve played Elden Ring think of him as a joke boss, but anyone who’s done a challenge run of the game sees him in their nightmares 😂
