Earlier this week, I caught a glimpse of Marvin Bagley III’s pregame routine.
He told me it’s his prayer time. He prays for protection & Gods hand over the night.
He shared, “I want people to know Jesus is real and share that with people. That’s most important to me.”
BREAKING: Jayden Bailey, a 17-year-old student athlete at Lebanon High School, died after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer, several years ago.
Bailey, a 6-foot-6 junior power forward, was diagnosed with the type of bone cancer in June 2022. His left arm was amputated as a result of the cancer in August 2025. After doctors thought he was cancer-free, the disease spread to his stomach in October 2025.
Still, he kept playing basketball and attending classes while inspiring those not only at Lebanon High, but the Tennessee high school basketball community. Bailey was honored by the Lebanon City Council days prior to his death with a proclamation of “Jayden Bailey Day.”
He was eventually forced to stop playing and going to school because his body was breaking down, his basketball coach, Jim McDowell said.
R.I.P. Jayden Bailey ❤️🙏
Bad Bunny walked out in a #64 jersey with “OCASIO” on the back.
Not Bad Bunny.
Not Benito.
His real name.
His family name.
Then he grabbed the mic and said:
“My name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio. And if today I’m here at the Super Bowl, it’s because I never, never stopped believing in myself.”
In Spanish.
No translation.
Even the jumbotron was in Spanish.
And I watched the whole thing with a translator on.
Because the message was that important to me.
They said he was “un-American.”
They said nobody would understand him.
They said having him perform was “ridiculous.”
And he SHOWED OUT!
He brought out Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.
He staged a wedding on the field.
He recreated a bodega.
He gave us a whole scene of family and love.
He humanized an entire culture on the world’s biggest stage.
All in his native language.
And he didn’t flinch.
His lyrics were clear messages:
“They want to take the river from me, and the beach too. They want my neighborhood and for my grandma to leave.”
“I should have taken more photos when I had you. Hopefully my loved ones will never move.”
And that last line:
“Ojalá que los míos nunca se muden.”
Hopefully my loved ones will never move.
That’s about families being separated.
Forced to leave.
Displacement.
Yeah, he didn’t chase the mainstream.
He made the mainstream come to him.
He put his family name on his back and told 120 million people exactly who he is.
And I’m here for ALL of it!👏🏽
Fellow Longhorns and anyone at all that may be the praying kind: a friend of the family can use it. Trisha Tilbury is 28 weeks pregnant and life long Longhorn. A few weeks ago she found a lump. That lump has turned into cancer all over her body and lymph nodes. They can’t treat her without risk to baby. Her dad and brother are salt of the Earth West Texans and they are asking for any thoughts and prayers anyone may have. I promised my momma I would ask even strangers. May God let her raise that baby.
Rest with the Lord

My friend's son is on the brink of death. Doctors are pressuring them to call it. In their opinion, there is no medical possibility that Micah Kim can recover.
Prayer could quite literally be the only way for him to miraculously heal bodily. Fasting is a form of prayer.
I'm calling for a fast for the intention of God working a miracle in Micah Kim to be bodily healed. As soon as you read this, only drink water for the next 24 hours. And if you have health issues, alter the fast according to your situation.
What else would you do if this was your own son?
After 6 years of annual MRI’s of my brain, the doctors have finally decided it is now time to remove the tumor to see exactly what it is. I can’t lie this is pretty scary but I’ve been mentally preparing for the past few weeks and I’m ready to go to battle. God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” - Philippians 4:13. Thank you for all the prayers and support! It doesn’t go unnoticed. Time to lock in for surgery! I’ll see you guys on the other side! - Tristan 🤞🙏🫡🧠
