Anubis Cont.- The thing keeping Anubis from being higher is the A site/CT spawn area. Not a fan of it.
Ancient- Hopefully ancient gets better, but as of now ancient feels like early vertigo, forced into the map pool. The map is very mid/utility dependant, which is bad for low lvl
Dust 2- Would be much higher if it wasnt so overplayed, meta in amateur play never really changed much, but still solid
Vertigo- Map I really like in its current state, but early versions of the map plague it's standings for me.
Anubis- Solid map, probably will rank higher in cs2
@FACEITCS Ancient; In pro play timings are weird and feels like the "better" team doesnt win. In casual play, it's very mid dependant in my experience, and very few people use enough utility to hold it.
Welp, now that the Majors are officially done for. CSGO, my top 5 are
1. ESL Cologne 2015
2. EL Atlanta 2017
3. PGL Stockholm 2021
4. EL Boston 2018
5. PGL Antwerp 2022
the group stage format for pro league is also just a trash format in general. Then ESL goes and puts Rio between the major and the rmrs. Like logistically the worst spot to have that tournament. Put a random event in South america between two events in Europe.
Not trying to come off as ignorant here, but CS has literally always had a crazy schedule. It makes 0 sense to me why there are significantly less LANs now in CS, yet the schedule is still fucked. Then ESL has the bright idea to make a 5 week long tournament.
