The number of people needed to destroy democracy is smaller than you would expect. Thankfully, there are people with integrity, like Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers, who defend democracy. https://t.co/PJupWtbMPq
@BrandonButch@AppleSupport After install of WatchOS 8.4.1, my Apple Watch stopped tracking any steps. I’m still going to close my circles today…somehow with 0 steps though?!
@girdley The kids/teens I work with aren’t nearly as bothered as most adults. Kids are adaptable. They are cautious and still social…see some friends in person; others online. They attend in person school+clubs. They are happy. I hear them laughing regularly, when masked & not masked.

@fnthawar I had a “door war” going on in a house I was renovating: 3 doors opening into one small bathroom (from hallway, shower room, and bedroom). Changing one to a pocket door solved the whole flow. Highly recommend in the right situation.
@573dave @NeighborGeek @Google@GoogleWorkspace That sounds reasonable from a consumer point of view, but from Googles POV, they want these “freeloaders” to take action and subscribe so it has to be painful enough to force that. Some % will upgrade, and for a free service that costs them nothing extra, it will all be margin.
@573dave @NeighborGeek @Google@GoogleWorkspace Definitely disappointing since the messaging seemed to be “forever free” at the beginning. With that said, there is certainly a trend to monetize free tiers recently. Google knows there are plenty of families/SMBs that won’t go through the hurdle of migrating…they will just pay.
