@piersmorgan 1. I was here first.
2. It’s a horrible addiction.
3. As a journalist, sadly it’s still where news happens which I have to cover.
4. You didn’t answer my question. How can you justify praising a man who funds and amplifies a man you say you loathe and is a fraud and a racist?
@piersmorgan Piers, please don’t gaslight us - you have nothing but negative things to say about a bunch of people, from Meghan Markle to Vladimir Putin.
But when it comes to Musk, you choose to hail and praise him the same week he actively amplifies and incites the violent far right.
@piersmorgan Well, most hardworking business man in history for a start. Not only is that impossible to prove but as @hasanthehun pointed out earlier, he’s always tweeting on this site so the idea he is always working is demonstrable BS.
@piersmorgan Or inciting violence. If you call that ‘working’.
Not sure how you can have so much contempt for Tommy Robinson while also praising the guy funding and amplifying him.
Just off the top of my head it makes it more likely that cancer will kill me or a loved one because his wealth led directly to cancer research being cut
@SydSteyerhart yeah it obviously is a moral duty to spend a miniscule share of income to save the lives of millions in any civilized moral system, and if you disagree it's hard to see you as a moral agent worthy of consideration
Musk as a trillionaire- anyone as a trillionaire- is a grotesque economic, moral and political problem. We cannot have individuals with that level of power, whatever they might have achieved.
@afneil A) as we’ve discussed before, you don’t need to quote tweet. B) You know as well as I do that extraordinarily concentrated wealth makes a difference to the lives of everyone in a democracy.
