@LilaGraceRose Not all Down syndrome babies are the same. Some luckily are born with relatively mild symptoms. Others aren’t so lucky. Please leave this to the patients and their doctors who understand each individual case.
@McJuggerNuggets I too terminated a very much wanted pregnancy because of Trisomy 21. Our fetus had both heart and lung disorders. It was the most difficult thing I have ever done and I am sending my love and strength to you and your wife.
@elonmusk The British lad’s family asked that his death not be used for political ends, but here you are disrespecting their wishes. I don’t think any right minded person needs to know more than that.
@GamerOnTheRight@TheRabbitHole Just know that most ‘white’ Americans don’t agree with you. With access to education, black and brown Americans are as able as anyone else. They are your fellow citizens, and deserve your respect. Perhaps you need to get to my age (68) to know that for a fact. Sad if so.
@Gubloinvestor The Canada you live in is unrecognizable to me. The one I am in looks out for neighbours ( despite everything, CA firefighters still answer the call when needed in the US), offers free healthcare, and good public services. It’s not perfect, but it’s not a hellhole either.
@DCemischi1975@DrNeilStone I observe these days that the word ‘mutilated’ is used a lot towards those with whom we disagree.
I appreciate you feel strongly. Yet my boys do not experience themselves as mutilated in any way. Also, you do not know their father, my husband of 28 years, or his motivations.
My 18 year old is taking his girlfriend out to celebrate their three year anniversary with flowers and a nice meal.
No, young romance isn’t dead. Not in Canada anyway!
