Not sure 🤔 how may different ways we can say it, but those of us that know will keep saying it until it sinks in.
It’s only the top 7% of athletes that end up playing in college
Be humble, yet proud of your accomplishment if you make it to the next level

A lot of college players quit the sport entirely and say their experience made them fall out of love with the game.
And in some cases—that’s true.
But in many others, they didn’t fall out of love. They simply realized they never truly loved it in the first place. They loved the IDEA of it.
The next level isn’t just “something you do after high school.” It’s a real commitment.
When you post “I’m committed to play for (school name),” you’re not just committing to a roster—you’re committing to growth.
Getting the spot is easy.
Keeping it—and earning meaningful minutes—requires you to evolve in ways that Instagram posts and signing days don’t show.
As you enter this process, as cliché as it sounds—find the right fit.
Get to know the person behind each coach.
Do some soul searching.
Figure out what you actually want.
Then go find your next home.
You owe it to yourself to be thorough.

🚨Transfer Portal Update🚨
There are 437 D1 new D1 players that have entered the May 1 portal and over 850 total active D1 players (many did not find homes in the fall). Be open to ALL levels as there are not enough D1 roster spots left to support this number of players.
DM: Everyone thinks the transfer portal is simple… it’s not.
Players reach out to programs they want — those programs aren’t interested.
Programs reach out to players they want — those players aren’t interested.
Players chase programs that don’t need them.
Programs chase players that don’t see the fit.
The smart ones find the right match, not just the biggest name.
Welcome to the portal.

That’s OKAY.
But you better have a Plan B early in your recruiting process in case the D1’s don’t want you.
