Which, at this point, scalping practices should be considered fraudulent, and therefore illegal, with heavy financial penalties and jail time. Proper enforcement makes restrictive selling like this unnecessary.

Wasting money buying a version of the game that will ultimately not be considered the complete experience, and will likely have to rebuy the definitive version at a later date.

There is little reason to buy the base version of Persona 6, because it will be most likely that Atlus will release a new "definitive" version in a year or two following.
