Fairness for high skilled immigrants 2019 (#HR1044) was a bipartisan bill that passed house with 365 votes, and when it came to Senate was blocked by @DickDurbin for close to 1 year, not by @JohnCornyn. Senator Cornyn has been a supporter of that bipartisan bill.

In other words, @SenatorDurbin is lying.

Employment-based green card allocation is a zero-sum game.

I hope everyone in never ending #greencardbacklog because of the discriminatory country caps realize that anytime admin decreases the qualifying criteria, instead of providing relief/solution to folks who have already been approved and waiting, means it would be even easier for folks to jump the line based on where they are born while wait time for approved worker increases.

Which I think will continue to happen under the current admin. If the admin changes, and makes H1B extensions harder as in the past, some folks who would have been permanent residents if not for the discriminatory caps, might get stuck. Don't wait until that happens and join advocacy to get what you have been approved for as per your priority date, not as per your country of birth.

@PlanoPoliceDept it’s very concerning that drivers are making illegal left turn to get in to @RiddleElem on Robinson Rd while traveling north. Everyday cops roll that way & why not citing drivers doing it. We see lot of cops taking that route around 7:30 to 7:45.

Not only that, whoever makes the left turn blocks traffic heading north on Robinson Rd creating a confusion with south bound vehicles. Speeding in school zone is whole different story! We certainly needs officers to watch out for these violators!!! Please help.

Dear @USCIS and @DHSgov -- now that SCOTUS has denied cert in the Washtech OPT case -- there is literally no excuse for not giving the people backlogged for longer than 180 days an EAD/AP. You would only be refusing to do this in order to intentionally harm these people. Act!
