We are making us a laughing stock of the world. Why does a CJI accept a random invitation from an “organiser” for a London talk on AI? Judges and lawyers together make the Bar and the Bench. Why book releases alone? Judges and lawyers also attend each other’s functions like children’s marriages and retirement or elevation or designation parties. The test is to still remain independent despite doing so. It’s impractical to enforce such artificial separations!
