From seaweed in waves and rum’s lost trace,
We turn the waste to fuel with grace.
In island winds, our engines hum,
Transforming sargassum — and rum.
Against all odds, we rise and fight
turning the tide, setting history right. #TestDriveZero, 09-17-24, Barbados @rumandsargassum

[CAF @AgendaCAF]

For the 2nd EU Caribbean Global Gateway Conference on Sargassum in Grenada, CAF invited leading experts from Latin America and the Caribbean. Each is leading the effort in turning the sargassum challenge into an opportunity in areas of research, policy development, academia, innovation, agriculture, renewables, and more.

Their work is key to unlocking the potential of sargassum in a sustainable and economically viable way. Their perspectives will feature prominently on day 2 when CAF cohosts an investment forum at the two day conference.
