Hey everyone. My mom has been battling breast cancer bravely all year, and while I do value my privacy, I would like to share her gofundme. She needs surgery and ongoing treatment, so all I ask is a bit of help as it's becoming overwhelming.
Every single donation she gets, be it $5 or $100, she excitedly messages me for every single one lmao. Thank you for reading this and considering, and if you can't, a RT would go a long way. Thank you.

Never in my life did I think I'd hear myself say "shut up about the sea peoples" but here we are

@caro_irl @hiMuenster Just reading passages from that book about how to cast Gush

[Balderdash @legend_of_b]

@G0ffThew I assume it's just normal visual foreshadowing? Like showing Darth Vader in Anakins shadow in the phantom menace poster

@bestgirlyazy I was not prepared for the number of hoops I would have to jump through to get this to the US but I did my part and got one for the gf 🫡

@DUSKdev I prefer when each area has its own bespoke piss filter

@RepGesAuto_NieR The Odyssey and the Illiad, two of the most foundational works of the west, are two parts of an eight part saga, the other six have been lost to time. There's definitely the sense that if we don't preserve it, it will be lost.

@MBTYuGiOh Every yugioh player loves to talk about how actually the game is good you should have just built your deck better until they hit with a floodgate and then they recite the same arguments 1 for 1

@realteaemoji Iirc my main issue was mostly just the character voice of the protagonist, the writing itself was passable to good

[Balderdash @legend_of_b]

@caro_irl Good way to filter out the Dreadmaws and find the Carnage Tyrant you deserve

[Balderdash @legend_of_b]

@spiderwebsoft Its ancient history now and I cant find the Q&A that it was in, but I think it was in the playtest for original Ravnica block

[Balderdash @legend_of_b]

@spiderwebsoft I think my favorite example of a similar thing is from Magic the Gathering design:

Two cards, identical in every way, except the second one has an incredibly niche ability that is all upside but unlikely to ever come up.

Players like card 1, but hate card 2.
