Season hasn’t even properly started yet and we’ve had Wolves scoring 3 goals.. A penalty save.. The away end beating each-other up.. Raul Jimenez returning..

A balaclava ban. Nottingham. Summer 2026. And the council leader's argument is so obvious it shouldn't need a consultation: "It's 32 degrees and you're wearing a balaclava. That's not acceptable."
She's right. It's glaring. 32 degrees. Sweltering. And these kids are riding e-bikes through the city centre with their faces wrapped up like it's January in Siberia. Nobody's doing that for the weather. Nobody's doing that for fashion. They're doing it because they're about to commit crime and they know full well the CCTV won't identify them.
Winter Wonderland, the annual family event, taken over by knife wielding youths on e-bikes. Not a scuffle. A takeover. A machete fight in the centre of Nottingham leaving a teenage boy injured. Gangs of masked teenagers roaming the streets leaving residents in fear. And the common denominator every single time? The mask. The balaclava. The deliberate concealment of identity specifically because it makes prosecution nearly impossible.
The consultation is a formality. Public opinion will be strong enough. It always is on this, the only people opposing a balaclava ban are the ones who want to keep wearing balaclavas while committing crime in 32 degree heat. What possible legitimate reason is there to wear a full face covering on an e-bike in a city centre during a heatwave? None. And everyone knows it.
The question is enforcement. A ban is only as good as the stop and search powers backing it up. And given the current state of police resourcing in Nottingham, knife crime up, response times down, the same exhausted officers bouncing from incident to incident, a ban without boots on the ground is just a press release.
Still. It's a start. Acknowledging the problem is the first thing the authorities have got right in a while. Face coverings on the streets of a major British city, in summer, by people armed with machetes. Call it what it is. Ban it. Let the consultation rubber stamp the obvious and get on with it.

@PolitlcsUK How on earth is there anyone in the world protesting how theyre policing this situation and why does the Met Police even need to explain theirselves on this, mad world! Job well done, should’ve kept going
Recently we unfortunately lost a dear friend of the podcast, Lee Heathcock, far too soon.
Lee was a Wolves home and away season ticket holder for many years and we would love it if fellow Wolves fans would join us with a minutes applause on the 33rd minute of our upcoming home game vs Tottenham.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this time ❤️🐺
@SkySportsPL This “rule” isn’t enforced consistently and is pointless now anyway, it used to waste time but now there are balls on cones every 5 yards around the entire pitch and ball boys on standby ffs
@Keir_Starmer Taxpayers are still funding this, it’s not free?
Just trying to appeal to the majority (the unemployed) yet again to try and keep voters, while workers get punished yet again.
January game plan should be this
JSL - Sell. He doesn't care.
Arias - Sell. Not EPL quality.
Andre - Sell. Doesn't want to be here.
Hwang - Sell. Needs change of scenery.
Johnstone or Sa - Sell one of them. This back and forth doesn't help anyone.
Use the funds to buy guys who can be good in the Championship next year. Start bedding them in for a promotion run next year.
Also, Arokodare, Mane and Fer should start every match from here on out.
@giomilano@RuneScape I dunno man, as much as I agree with certain aspects of your point I think it’s just more of a “git gud” response that is needed.
Also Thats what legacy and osrs is for if you can’t
