Unfortunately hospital admissions with covid are rising steeply again across England.

No specific variant to blame (yet) but a combo of waning immunity, changing behaviour, and a soup of new more immune evasive variants growing (but not yet dominant). 1/2

@darren_toogood Actually health care services are areas of high risk and we have increasing cases on the island. Wearing a mask for a short period of time is hardly a hardship to keep you and other vulnerable people around you safe.
