Author of THE SKY IS YOURS (@HogarthBooks)! Don't contact me via Twitter; I am almost never on here. My email address, which I check daily, is on my website.
@Acccidental @bcmerchant Plus, in the movie, the companion is ultimately capable of forming, articulating, and pursuing her own desires. In the film's logic human loneliness has allowed us to create something greater or at least equal to ourselves that teaches us to let go and heal.
@kathyfish I had a pretty devastating experience earlier this year when I sent my WIP to a writer I admire who had previously asked me for feedback on his. He claimed to read my ms & said it was great. But when I asked follow up questions he told me he couldn't remember anything about it 😂
@TheKaufmann I heard Twitter was x now so I came here to see what was going on... But it's been so long since I last used it I can't tell the difference?
@DBGerrard I just logged into Twitter for the first time in 3 years and this was exactly the first tweet that I saw. I had this really unsettling feeling for about 5 seconds that maybe it really was 2026.
@rakeshsatyal Grateful for the blurbs I got & try to blurb worthy stuff whenever I can... but I do hate blurbing as a practice. It's vastly unfair for writers w/o a big literary network (who often had a harder time getting a book deal in the 1st place) & I'm not sure how much it helps readers.

From last night’s 2 terrific readings at the KGB Fantastic Fiction series: @PaulWitcover and @larazontally in action. Thanks to everyone who attended and to @leggysnake for co-hosting with me and @mattkressel and @EllenDatlow for asking us.
Subvert genre conventions in order to write fiction that is truthful, exciting, and new. Taught by none other than the fabulous @leggysnake! https://t.co/OG21YJfpal
@maltman613@CarlyPildis@avitalrachel Yes, my friend @TheKaufmann got me going to the NYPL in Bryant Park for awhile! Honestly, I usually prefer my apartment but the library is a cool space if you're looking to get out of the house.
