@techAU Its hard to justify purchasing each time you update your car(not transferabel). If Tesla linked FSD to the user and not the car then they can still charge 10K AUD, then 5k AUD to transfer(50% of initial cost). With this method, they will get substancially more takeup+revenue.

@elonmusk How many times do you think Tesla customers will pay that. I paid it several years ago and I am now upgrading the Model 3 and the FSD goes with the car. If you have previously purchased it it should be recognised. Possibly 50% of the full price if purchased previously?
