My old neighbour, in her 70s, phones me a lot and couldn’t understand my recorded voicemail message so I changed it to the default msg thinking it might be clearer. She now leaves me messages that say “Go get fucked” and “Yeah, go fuck yourself” then rings later to chat.

Finished reading another book that was well-paced and quite well-written but, again, I didn’t care at all about the characters and the plot really had no point to it, no tension, no resolution. Really starting to wonder if it’s modern publishing or if I’ve just given up on life
