The russians bombed us all night. Kyiv was exploding and burning. We were all hiding in shelters.

We had already received warnings yesterday that russia was preparing a massive attack. I went to sleep in the shelter. My hotel room was not safe. Just as homes, apartments and children’s bedrooms were not safe for women, children and the elderly across Kyiv.

Ballistic missiles struck the city. Fires and destruction were reported in five districts. Residential buildings were hit. People were trapped inside their homes. Rescuers saved 13 people. At least two people were killed and ten injured. These figures may still rise.

One of the three main heat power stations - TEC5 - frequent target of russian attacks throughout the full scale invasion - was attacked again.

And Kyiv was not the only target. Explosions were also reported in Odesa where the largest wholesale market in Europe burnt to the ground. This is what russia does. It attacks an entire country while people sleep.

Since the full-scale invasion, russia has damaged or destroyed 2,687 medical infrastructure sites across Ukraine. Even hospitals are targets in this war.

Yesterday, the head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Oleh Ivashchenko, warned that russia may still have enough resources to wage war through 2027 and 2028. We must do everything we can to make russia’s war machine run out of money. Preferably now!

What happened in Kyiv last night was hell. I would not wish it on anyone who lives in peace and falls asleep safely in their own bed.

Charków to jedno z największych miast Ukrainy, bombardowane i atakowane dronami każdego dnia. Wiele dzielnic, zwłaszcza na północy miasta jest dziś zrujnowanych. Bardzo niebezpiecznych. Rosjanie atakują infrastrukturę cywilną, w tym stacje benzynowe.

Niedawno byliśmy tam z kamerą @tvp_info i przygotowywaliśmy reportaż, że Charków staje się powoli frontowym miastem. Dziś wolontariusze, którzy jeżdżą tam często, w tym Karolina Kuzema @KarolinaKuzema, informują, że w ostatnich tygodniach sytuacja pogorszyła się dramatycznie.

Przez to, że Rosjanie przesunęli się o dosłownie kilka kilometrów w pobliżu granic, mają w zasięgu wiele dróg i miasteczek, a tym główną trasę z Połtawy do Charkowa. Celują tam w stacje benzynowe i w cywilne samochody.

Wiele wiosek, do których niedawno jeszcze jeździliśmy z pomocą z @uafuturecharity jest dziś ewakuowanych ze względu na zagrożenie, w tym miasta Bogoduchiw czy Złoczów, gdzie wspieraliśmy miejscowy szpital i dzieci, w tym sieroty wojenne.

🪖 Sytuacja na wschodzie Ukriany się pogarsza, nie poprawia, bez względu na to, co czasem czytacie w mediach, to twarzą w twarz i na własne oczy, to naprawdę wygląda na dalekie od „dobrze”.
