@hubertlepicki Well, actually this goes back much further, the ordinary peasant was never worth much and had no say in anything that mattered. The Soviet era just had a different ruling class, but the general characteristics of the society were the same as always. They haven't changed still.
@hubertlepicki Probably developed mainly for sale, currently makes no sense for their own use. But in 5-10y there will be a number of new nuclear armed states, perhaps paradoxically not all of them capable of their own delivery systems. Also probably already working on their own A-bomb, too.
@hubertlepicki@Tkulbaco Lactarius are excellent, especially these ones. Also try marinating them, you can thank me later. And any Lactarius would lose the poison when boiled, so if not sure about a certain species just boil them (and collect the foam).
@kallemets@viljararakas Pigem lihtne mõista seda pühalehmastamist. Suur valijagrupp, kõrge valmistel osalemise protsent ja suhtelise vaesuse poolest Euroopa tipus (tehniliselt peaaegu kõik üksi elavad pensionärid on vaesed). Meil lihtne öelda "külmutage", aga poliitiku jaoks on see pmst enesetapukatse.
@AndersK166 Ei viitsi pühapäeval raisata oma aega kontrollimisele, kuid AI väitel meil samal ajavahemikul (2022-2026) hinnatõus 38%. Hinnatase täna olevat siiski suht sarnane. Küll aga pole sarnased leibkondade tulud :(
@hubertlepicki@happyhappyhenri Mobilization on it's own does not count for much. Training, equipment, logistics. I'm no expert but very hard to believe they would just throw 250k untrained, poorly equipped conscripts on any NATO country. Makes no sense at all imho.
@hubertlepicki Would definitely try, but might turn out to be too sweet afterall. It's with barley, right? In our case always, but I read somewhere you might use buckwheat instead.
@hubertlepicki A hacker stole records from more than 300 practices in Estonia just recently. Was caught very soon, hopefully didn't pass them on. GDPR or not, we need better security of sensitive data.
@A_Melikishvili@ABarbashin You might very well have excellent understanding of your region (I really don't know), but you obviously have no idea what you're talking about here. Many people make the mistake of dismissing "the Baltics" as clueless and helpless little victims, we're not.
@petite_michelle@JenniVirtaluoto Not only that, these are not all local Russians. Some russian speaking people you hear on the streets are from Ukraine. The first wave of displaced persons that came in was mainly from the East, so mostly russian speaking. And many have stayed.
@JenniVirtaluoto Well, it's about who goes where. Most Estonians rarely visit the Old Town. I'm from Tallinn originally, have been living just outside Tallinn proper for more than 20y now. I've only been there just once this year, to meet with a friend from Finland:)
@UnforcedAG@AlexFinn Remarkable changes in the last couple of months. Apparently they finally cracked the "unknown" category (supposedly more privacy-concious users, so mostly Linux).
@UnforcedAG@AlexFinn If this is even remotely correct Linux is already at about 10% (Chrome OS is also a Linux). So, a long way to go but not marginal any more.
@wingtw@vanhanenist There is a clearly recognizable accent for most Estonians (including myself). Maybe a bit less than most Finns, but still. Nothing to brag about.
