This interview with the CEO of Bluesky gave me hope that may be a future for social media that fixes some of the problems without forcing us to quit it altogether. https://t.co/2wwq3uitl0
I’m https://t.co/zy82wATPhA on Bluesky if anyone gets inspired to join and connect there.
PMs usually welcome more cross-functional support, but nothing is as frustrating as an over-staffed function that creates busy-work & optics-work for you & your team because the people on that x-fn team “need something to do” and their manager needs to justify current headcount.
Splitting #userstories. It’s something I get asked about every day. I got asked so much, that I invented the SPIDR acronym to make it easy to remember the 5 simple, but powerful, ways to split user stories.
Unrealistic to think you can explain product thinking enough that stakeholders will stop asking for features. Better to do the work yrslf to suss out the underlying problems: its not their job to think that way & your relationships will be better if you stop being pedantic abt it
