We acknowledge GMMTV's statement as a first step. However, our concerns remain, and our requests for proper cultural explanations, acknowledgement, and on-screen credits have yet to be fully addressed.

@RRRRRRJ13 The traditional dress they wore in the drama is not from Taungoo area. IT'S From Yadanapon area (over 100 years gap here). If they used the traditional dress from taungoo area, we would accept it.The main point is the company can't mix other countries culture in the first place.
@masakimassu@mrjosbush Okay, that's your choice, and I respect that. But as Myanmar people, we can't let this happen.
We love our culture and value it so much that we still wear our traditional clothes in our daily lives.
Our culture means a lot to us.
@lazypoorasian We know thai people don't want to steal our culture but I think GMMTV might want to...all we want is proper credit for our culture...but they ignore us.
@GMMTV@ScarletHeartTH Cultural exchange is one thing. Taking another culture's heritage without proper acknowledgment is another. Respect every culture. Give credit where credit is due.
@GMMTV@ScarletHeartTH But honestly, the bigger issue is this: you shouldn't take inspiration from other people's cultural heritage, present it as your own, and fail to give proper recognition to its origins.
@GMMTV@ScarletHeartTH If you're going to combine cultural elements from different countries and ethnic groups, then at least acknowledge them all. The title should reflect the cultures involved, such as Scarlet Heart: Myanmar, China, Lanna, Thailand, and Beyond.
