@LowBoomLowDrift@JoeZaharia Most people here use boundary track or swap track to steer the first lap. Unless it’s a new field. I recommend swap track if you’re not on SF3 or RTK.
Record the boundary on the first lap if you don’t have a boundary and then you can Autotrac next time you’re there.
@pfox_manheim Al lot of changes Patrick, it was a real time of exploration and growth for PA in the region. Feels like we might be witnessing it again soon with Autonomy but there wont be the black ops operations required to make it all work.
Hi Friends, today marks a new chapter as I step away from my my role at Brandt.
In 2007 I started working for Wickham Flower in Precision Ag and was fortunate to spend the last 16 years in a job that was exciting, challenging and rewarding.
@brendanw59 Hi Brendan. Staying local for now, lots of “me” stuff to catch up on for the rest of the year and then I’ll see how I’m feeling in 2024. Need to catch my breath for a bit. :).
Thanks to all my friends, family and customers who have supported me along the way, you’ve been awesome and made the hard work worthwhile.
I look forward to catching up without my John Deere hat on an talking a bit less about satellites and AB lines 😁.
It’s been so rewarding helping customers adopt technology and practices that help them be amongst the best farmers in the world.
I truly don’t know what’s next but I’m looking forward to recharging the brain and body before taking on the next thing.
@AndrewThomfarms@cropmad@DaveyJohn_676@andrewpiper12 With a 4640 in the system you’d turn off imp bus on the 4600 and push all iso implements to 4640 and then connect the extended monitor to 4640 to view multiple ISO implements simultaneously. Im assuming that’s what you want to do?
@AndrewThomfarms@cropmad@DaveyJohn_676@andrewpiper12 You can’t run a 2nd extended monitor if that’s the question. A Gen 4 4600 or 4640 can only run 1 JD extended monitor as it only has 1 ethernet port. Your 3rd screen would have to be Gen 4 display (or maybe 2630) linked to the main Gen4 on the implement bus.
